Aloo paratha



Aloo paratha with curd and home made tomato pickle
For the filling
Potatoes - 3-4 med ones ( peel and pressure cook till soft and mash it with a fork and keep aside)
Cumin powder- a pinch
Fennel powder-  pinch
Turmeric powder- a pinch
Salt - as required
Coriander leaves - finely chopped


Mix all the ingredients for the filling and make small balls and keep aside.


For the dough
Whole wheat flour, water and a tspn of oil
Mix all the ingredients to form a soft ( not too soft ) dough as in for chappathi. 


Procedure.. 
Make a small ball from the dough, flatten a little and keep the filling inside and carefully and gently cover the filling with the dough. Roll it out and cook it in a not too hot tawa, flipping the sides, smearing a little oil, butter or ghee ( your choice) .


Serve hot with curd/raita or pickle.
Dont forget to enjoy it hot!
